This downtown Toronto condo, in walking distance to St Lawrence Market, is a third home for this Canadian couple. They loved the potential of this older condo because of its large outdoor terrace with which to entertain, and a large interior. The condo was very dark with daylighting and windows at only the far end. New design goals were to create a more spacious and well-lit expansive space in keeping with energy efficient solutions. The couple travel extensively and wanted to have a home for their special sculptures, artifacts and art.

Design Highlights include: a custom wall unit designed to display a Chinese antique dynasty vase, a reconfigured master bath and adjacent walk in closet, full-height sliding wall-to-wall milk glass doors in the master bed and bath area, large format porcelain floor tiles, interesting glass mosaic tiles throughout, custom concrete and stainless steel barstools from Kim’s furniture line, and a ceiling design with ambient lighting and smart controls throughout.
