Overlooking the ocean and the famous Del Mar racetracks, a secondary home for 20 years, this Condo became the primary residence for the newly empty nester homeowners. The goals were to update the home to create a more spacious and functional interior, expand the kitchen area to accommodate the homeowners’ love for cooking and entertaining, and give the empty nesters a flexible design that allowed for Aging in Place.

Design highlights include: raised ceilings, an expanded kitchen with a moveable prep island, integrated kitchen cabinets with Wolf and SubZero appliances, reconfigured master bath with a wet room that incorporates both an integrated tub and walk in shower, large format wall tiles resembling soft damask wallpaper, and custom art glass sidelights promoting natural daylight throughout the condo.
